Types of Beanies

Since many people (both grown-ups and little ones) love beanies, there are different types of them. Back in the day, beanies were actually used for pure practical reasons by workers but in our day and age these types of hats are mostly a fashion or design thing, which you can wear both in winter and summer – most likely different types though 🙂

One of the best things about beanies is that you can wear them pretty much in any weather or climate. It goes without saying that we’re talking about different types of beanies, but they are still beanies. Beanies are good for all sorts of occasions primarily because they (for the most part) are made from stretchable material (with the exception of leather beanies).

Believe it or not, but you can call the following types of hats a beanie: skull caps, ski hats, knit caps, stocking caps, toques, and berets. Beanies can have different names based on their designs, country of origin, fitting, material, etc. Though visually quite different types of hats fall under the beanie category, they can suit a wide range of fashion styles and trends.

Back in the day (and sometimes nowadays), beanies were used to primary protect the head from awful cold and do it with style. That said, many types of beanies are best to actually protect you from the Sun. Plus there is another of beanies, which is not supposed to protect you from anything (a vanity thing?). Well, it’s actually a fashion thing. For the most part, beanies are good for any kind of weather and you can effortlessly keep them in a travel bag or even in a backpocket.
